Legal Assistance
     The Legal Services Program serves clients age 60 and over, who live in the 5th Planning District of Virginia, and are unable to qualify for Legal Aid Services or afford a private attorney. Clients may be provided with either information or case consultation. Issues include:

  • Power of Attorney documents, advanced medical directives
  • Public benefits, such as Medicaid
  • Financial exploitation
  • Landlord/Tennant issues
  • Consumer issues such as difficulty with home repairs, car loans, credit card problems, contract disputes, and loan problems.
