Volunteer Opportunities

Meals on Wheels

Deliver a hot, nutritious lunch Monday through Friday to home bound senior citizens.

Vital Services Transportation

Drivers are needed who can drive their own vehicle and help seniors get into the car to go to their appointment. Some volunteers will qualify for mileage reimbursement.

Senior Companion Program

Older person helping their peers remain at home by providing support with the daily routine. You will volunteer Monday through Friday. Volunteers receive a stipend and other benefits.

VICAP

Be trained to become an objective volunteer in order to answer questions, in person or over the phone, about long term care insurance, Medicare supplemental (Medigap) insurance, hospital and physician bills or HMO’s.

Senior Safety

Volunteers work as a team on individually to install grab bars, smoke detectors and other safety items in seniors homes.
