Day of Giving

The Local Office on Aging will participate in GIVE Roanoke, the online day of giving campaign for nonprofits in our community, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

We want you to join us by donating to LOA on 4/24/24. We’re thrilled that Vinton Roofing Company is offering a generous $3,000 matching gift! For any gift given to LOA for GIVE Roanoke, Vinton Roofing will match it up to a total of $3,000! Double your donation to LOA by giving to GIVE Roanoke! 

Donations to LOA through GIVE Roanoke help provide:

• $25 donation gives 3 Meals on Wheels delivered or 2 Diner’s Club lunches
• $50 provides emergency assistance to 25 seniors
• $100 gives 12 car rides to doctors’ appointments
• $250 provides Health and Wellness programs for 50 people
