An Affair in Autumn is an exclusive, invitation-only event for LOA’s closest friends. Share the season with other dedicated supporters of our mission to assist older adults in need. We invite you to join us for an exquisite evening of fine food, music, and the company of like-minded individuals, as we joyfully celebrate the beginning of the season of giving.

Event Details

  • Event attire is semi-formal.
  • Parking: Jefferson Center uses two paved parking lots and an auxiliary gravel lot on Luck Avenue, as well as a paved lot on the 5th Street side of the building for parking. On-street parking is also available around Jefferson Center, with all on-street parking unrestricted after 5PM. Parking is free at Jefferson Center for all events.
  • The Blue Ridge Catering Company will serve sumptuous hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and dessert. One beverage tickets will be provided for each guest, followed by a cash bar.
  • Dinner main course options are Roast Chicken or Balsamic Onion Salmon. (A vegetarian option is available upon request.) If you have food allergies, please let us know when you RSVP.
  • The music of the Tom Floyd Trio will accompany our time together in the gorgeous Fralin Atrium of the Jefferson Center.
