ROANOKE, Va. (April 28, 2026) — The Local Office on Aging (LOA) will host its Celebrating Seniors Health Fair on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Valley View Mall in Roanoke on the lower level in the Savvy Events space (formerly Eddie Bauer), near JCPENNEY.
The free event is designed to connect older adults and caregivers with valuable local resources, health services and wellness activities in one convenient location. More than 25 organizations will be on-site, offering information on topics including health care, physical therapy, estate planning and senior services. Attendees can also take advantage of on-site health screenings and demonstrations.
“The Celebrating Seniors Health Fair is all about making it easier for older adults and their families to access the resources they need in one place,” said Ron Boyd, LOA President and CEO. “We want attendees to leave feeling informed, supported and empowered to take the next steps in their health and well-being.”
