Speak Up! Help Virginia Age Better! The Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) is leading the effort to prepare Virginia’s next State Plan for Aging Services.
They want to hear from adults age 60+, caregivers, and professionals all across Virginia! The public is invited to join a series of in-person and virtual listening sessions:
The Roanoke in-person session will be Wednesday, November 18 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the LOA Center for Health and Wellness, 4902 Frontage Rd. NW, Roanoke, VA 24019. Call LOA at (540) 345-0451 to let us know you’re coming.
The statewide virtual (Zoom) session will take place December 1 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
